Where Does The Ride Start?
Under the “ARCHES” is the bridge that the old New England highway crosses over, with the new TOOWOOMBA SECOND RANGE CROSSING passing underneath. All Rides will start under the ARCHES on Saturday Sept 7 from 7am. As we secure more information, we will share with all registered riders all the critical information you will need.

What Time will the RIDE Start on September 7?
All Rides with start at 7am. THE 73 Riders will go first, followed by THE 36 and THE 25’s and finally THE V31‘s with short 5 minute break before you are set off.
What Time SHOULD I BE THERE BY on September 7?
We are reckon you aim for 6:15am – we already have way over 1300 riders locked in already.
What Time DOES REGISTRATION/PLATE COLLECTION OPEN on September 7?
5:30am – Pick-Up your PLATE and Jersey if you ORDERED Before AUGUST 6.
Can I REGISTER ON THE DAY on September 7?
YES! But it will cost you $120.00
Is The Ride Supported?
Yes. We will have Volunteer Marshalls on the course for each ride. Rotary Ride The Second Range Crossing is a fully supported ride event. We’ve been doing Ride The Range for 10 Years, so we know how it rolls!
How Long do I have to Ride?
You will have a FIVE hour window to complete our longest ride THE73. Chances are you will be back in time to enjoy the free community fair which starts at 11am.
You are encouraged to park safely in town and then cycle towards Mort St – head north and follow the signs to the event.
Parking has been offered by Wilsonton State High School – this is a public carpark in front of the Wilsonton State School and is free parking.
What type of bike can I Ride?
A road bike is best but if if has two wheels, great brakes and good comfy seat you are looking good. A MTB is great option as well. If you have an E-Bike, not a problem. This is a charity ride with some sweet views. Go for it!
Do you have Maps or Course Elevations?
As you’d expect, the course has been an active construction site so we haven’t had access to secure any Strava Maps or pure Course Elevations, but our Full Course Flybys will give you an idea of what to expect. Check the main page for each ride for more information.
Rotary Ride The Second Range Crossing is not a race, but on the day you can set a cracking pace and could be crowned a Strava KOM or QOM. A Title you’ll get to hold as this is a Once In A Lifetime Ride Event. It will be epic!
